Artfully Gifts and Chocolate in the Carlyle neighborhood has become a full-service espresso and cocoa bar, adding to its assortment of chocolate, gifts stationary and cards.

The 506 John Carlyle St. shop joins its sister store, Artfully Chocolate, in D.C., a popular indoor and outdoor café near Logan Circle.

Owner Eric Nelson, whose Alexandria store won one of two awards for small business of the year from the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, encouraged locals to drop by for a free sample of the “diva” hot chocolate of your choice.
