On June 8, twenty-seven smiling eighth grade students, dressed in their finest apparel and decorated with carnations and roses, processed to the stage for Browne Academys 21st annual eighth grade graduation ceremony at the George Washington Masonic Temple in Old Town.
After listening to engaging speeches given by Scott Klein, the Student Council President, Michele Liberty, the Director of Academic Technology, and Kristin Staffo (Browne Academy 03), onlookers watched with pride and excitement as the graduating class shared personal reflections on the time they spent at Browne.
Finally, after presenting a SMART Board as their farewell gift to the school, the Class of 2007 received their diplomas and officially became graduates of Browne Academy.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, eighth grade students and their families were invited to return to the Browne Academy campus for a graduation reception held in the new Center for Athletics and Performing Arts.
Students in this years graduating class will be enrolled in the following high schools in 2007-2008: St. Stephens and St. Agnes School, Bishop Ireton High School, Bishop Denis J.
