The Lady Titans headed into the first round of the VHSL tournament as the AAA Northern Region runner-ups after West Springfield snuck by T.C., 46-41, in the championship game. Despite the defeat, the Titans qualified for the state tournament, though they didnt stay long.
The Princess Anne Cavaliers picked apart the Titans for a 66-49 win in the state tournaments opening round. Despite a strong offensive showing to start for both squads, the Cavaliers outscored the Titans 23-6 in the second quarter.
