The Charles Barrett Elementary School PTA will hold its annual live and silent auction from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at Art Whino Gallery, 717 North Saint Asaph St., Alexandria.  Tickets are $12 per person if purchased in advance, $15 at the door.

The event is the PTAs largest fundraiser, with proceeds going to help a wide range of projects, including student field trips, playground equipment, classroom instruction enhancements, family literacy programs, teacher appreciation gifts and an annual donation to the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria.

Local businesses and Charles Barrett families and teachers have donated a wide variety of items.
