City Hall will pick up the parking tab for shoppers who flock to Old Town on Black Friday, November 25, one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The City of Alexandria is offering free parking at meters and all six city-owned parking garages and lots in Old Town as an incentive to keep holiday purchases local.

The promotion starts at 6 a.m.
