Paisano’s Pizza has fought breast cancer this month with dough, cheese and marinara sauce.

The Duke Street pizza and sub joint is giving $2 from each large pizza sale to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation and will continue the promotion and donation through the end of the month.

“There isn’t a person in the Washington Metropolitan area who hasn’t felt the effects of breast cancer in some way,” said owner Fouad Qreitem. “Whether you’ve had the disease yourself or a family member or friend has had it, it’s safe to say you’ve been impacted by breast cancer. Paisano’s wants to do something to help end this disease.”
