The Alexandria PTA Council will be hosting ACPS Superintendent Morton Sherman during its April 15 meeting (7 p.m.) at Samuel Tucker Elementary School. Sherman will be speaking about the stimulus funds available for ACPS, including the restrictions on the funds, and the suggestions that are being considered as possible uses for the money, and will also field public comments on the funding. School Board members will also appear at the meeting to answer questions about the freshly minted ACPS 2010-2015 Strategic Plan.
