On November 6, the Alexandria Police Department will launch a new searchable online crime database through crimereports.com.  The crimereports.com website was developed to help increase awareness and knowledge of city wide and neighborhood crime trends and patterns. Through the Alexandria Police Departments partnership with crimereports.com, residents will be able to search and view Alexandria crime data using an online Geographic Information System.

The crimereports.com Website allows residents to view crime for an entire region, neighborhood or block.  The data represented on crimereports.com is broken out into several general categories on the crimereports.com site.  This data represents crimes that have been reported to the Alexandria Police Department.
