Robbery from person
On May 15 at the 3800 block of Russell Road an unknown suspect approached an Alexandria man and displayed a handgun. He removed cash and personal property from the victim. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. A K-9 unit conducted a track with negative results.
Sexual battery
At the 100 block of Dale Street on May 15 at 1:30 p.m, an unknown suspect grabbed the victim, a 30 year-old Alexandria woman, inappropriately and fled. The suspect is described a Hispanic white male, 25-30, 50-53, 140lbs-160 lbs wearing a red and black stripped shirt and blue jeans.
Attempted armed robbery
Around 5 p.m. on April 17, on the 3700 block of Commonwealth Avenue, two male city residents walking in the alley were accosted by a lone assailant who threatened them and demanded their wallets. The victims took out their cell phones and threatened to call the police, and the suspect fled. The man is described as a black male, 16-18 years old, 6 0, 160lbs-165 lbs, wearing tan shorts and a white tee-shirt. There were no injuries.
Disorderly conduct
On May 18 at 1:34 am, on the 3800 block of Mount Vernon Ave., fights broke out between some of the 500 patrons inside an establishment. This caused the police at the scene to work collaboratively with the owner to stop the music and send the patrons home. Some disorderly behavior continued outside, but there were no arrests or injuries. The crowd dispersed in approximately 45 minutes.
Residential burglary
At 101 South Whiting Street on May 18 between 6:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., some unknown persons entered the victims apartment and removed personal property.
Grand larceny auto
A 2003 silver 4-door Pontiac Grand AM was stolen from 75 South Reynolds St. between 9:30 p.m. on May 14 and 6:00 p.m. on May 15.
Grand larceny other:
At 501 Slaters Lane between midnight on May 12 and 8:00 a.m. May 14, an unknown suspect entered the parking area and removed the victims 2007 Marshain red and black mini-bike.
