A minor at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Home suffered injuries after an assault at the 200 block S. Whiting St. facilitys exercise area on June 15. 

Police dont know what sparked the fight, which began about 10:47 p.m., but it involved three people and left one with a minor injury after a punch was thrown, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. All involved were juveniles, she said.

Police dont know if the trio knew each other before the incident. One individual was arrested, according to police reports.
