Police say a man robbed and thrown from a car knew at least one of the suspects involved in the early morning incident on April 18.
The victim was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle located on South Van Dorn Street when the two men one of them an acquaintance demanded money and grabbed his wallet about 12:35 a.m., police said.
They pushed him out of the car and drove off, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. He was not injured.
Police have made no arrests and descriptions of the two suspects were unavailable. Authorities did not elaborate on the victims relationship with one of his attackers.
