The Alexandria Police Department has opened all streets in Del Ray that were closed in the aftermath of Wednesday’s shooting at Eugene Simpson Field.

Though the two baseball fields and the dog park at Eugene Simpson Park are still closed, the YMCA has reopened.

All the areas that remain closed are expected to open sometime this afternoon. In addition, the Alexandria Little League plans to host a baseball game at the field on Monday night.
