Melanie Jean Doyle and Jeffrey Renaud, both residents of Alexandria, are planning their wedding for Nov. 17.

Miss Doyle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Doyle of Rockport, Mass, where the wedding will be held. Mr. Renaud is the son of

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Renaud of Huntingtown, MD.

Melanie received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg. She is currently employed by Reading Is Fundamental, a children’s literacy nonprofit in Washington.

Jeff is a graduate of Western New England College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business management. He is currently employed by ExactTarget, an e-mail software company, as the eastern sales manager.
