More than 1,000 people and pets dove head-long into the week of All Hallows Eve, donning costumes of all shapes and sizes to march in Sundays Halloween Parade on Mt. Vernon Avenue. Canines posing as ogres, fresh grapes and, yes, clowns were just some of the sights along the route, along with Star Wars storm troopers, a few Supermen and at least one four-legged Bob McDognell.
