A vacationing 300 block S. Whiting St. resident returned home to find someone had moved her vehicle while she was out of town. 

Alexandria police say the woman reported leaving her vehicle within the lines of the parking space when she left. When she returned the automobile was outside of the lines, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. 

The woman reported the incident about 9:57 a.m. August 6. 

Authorities dont know how the vehicle was moved, but say it was left with a scrape. There have been no arrests and the incident remains under investigation, Hildebrandt said.
