After breaking into a 1700 block King St. restaurant earlier this month, one or more thieves not only stole money from the register, but also helped themselves to candy bars, city police say.

The burglary occurred sometime between the close of business August 15 and about 9:08 a.m. the next morning, when a passerby noticed evidence of the break-in, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. 

Officials dont know which candy bar brands the thieves stole. There is no surveillance footage or witnesses, and authorities dont have suspect descriptions.

No arrests have been made, Hildebrandt said, and the incident remains under investigation.
