An unidentified man allegedly threw a rock at a female victim after being asked to leave a West Glebe Road McDonalds restaurant Monday.
    
The victim told the suspect not to trespass on the fast food chains property about 1:28 p.m., police said. The suspect then picked up a rock, hurled it back at her and fled, authorities said. 
    
He missed, leaving the woman uninjured. 
    
The victim later called police, said department spokesman Jody Donaldson. The suspect is known to authorities, but no charges have been filed, he said.
    
Police are waiting to see if the victim will pursue an arrest warrant for the misdemeanor offense, Donaldson said.
