Authorities are searching for a Hispanic man, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, wanted for allegedly attempting to rob another man walking through a Quantrell Avenue parking lot on March 22. 

The suspect approached the unidentified victim in the 5900 block parking lot about 12:36 a.m. and implied he had a weapon, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. When he demanded money, the victim fled for a nearby building yelling for help. The suspect later left the scene, police said. 

Residents “should remain calm and act to ensure a safe outcome” in similar situations, Hildebrandt said.
