Alexandria police seek the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a 32-year-old woman earlier this month.
At about 10 p.m. on July 8, a woman was walking to her home when a 5-foot-7-inch man with a shaved head approached her from behind, grabbed her and took her purse, police said.
The woman was not seriously injured.
The next day, a man who seemingly matches the description was caught on surveillance cameras using the victim’s credit cards in both Reston and Clifton, Va.
Anyone recognizing the pictured man or anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call Detective Tom Buckley at 703-838-4897 or the Crime Solvers tip line at 703-838-4858. Witnesses can remain anonymous.
