A man walking home Sunday in the early evening hours was attacked and robbed by two men, officials said.

The victim was at the intersection of Drake Court and Harwich Circle about 5:30 p.m. when the duo approached him from behind. One of the men then punched the victim, said Jody Donaldson, Alexandria Police Department spokesman.

Suffering minor injuries, the victim turned his iPod and laptop over to the pair. The suspects fled on foot, Donaldson said.

Authorities have a description of one suspect: a white man, about 150 to 170 pounds, roughly 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 inches tall donning a black knit cap, white shirt and blue jeans. Both remain at large, Donaldson said.
