Alexandria police officers are investigating a robbery that took place on Tuesday night in the 4300 block of Duke Street, according to a news release.

Late on Tuesday night, an unknown male suspect approached the victim, a man, and robbed him at gunpoint, Alexandria Police Department Public Information Officer Courtney Ballantine said in an email.
