The Alexandria PoliceDepartment is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in anarmed burglary that occurred in the 100 block of Lynhaven Drive.
On Wednesday, July 15, atabout 1 p.m., a female resident was leaving her house when two suspects forcedher back inside. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. Theyacted as if they were looking for somebody. The person was not found and thesuspects fled the area. There were no injuries.
The first suspect isdescribed as a black male in his mid 20s, unshaven and wearing what appeared tobe a United States Postal Service uniform. He had a tattoo on the insideof his forearm that appeared to be in a script type font.
The second suspect isdescribed as a black male in his mid 20s with medium-length dreadlocks. Hewas wearing a black cap, black shirt, dark blue jeans, black gloves and whiteNike Air Force One shoes.
