William Ramsay Elementary School parents want to introduce their newest principal, Rosario Casiano, to the community with a welcome reception August 26. 
    
PTA President Robert Goss hopes to bring members of the community together with staff, parents and students during the meet-and-greet, which features two dance groups and a fourth-grade student presentation. He believes getting parents and neighbors active in the lives of students early on will improve education later in life.

We want the community to be involved, Goss said. This also includes parents that will support the school by volunteering for tutoring services to help out in the school.

The welcome reception will be held at the William Ramsay Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m.
