Someone likely wielding a red felt pen went on a signing spree at the Burke Branch Library, defacing public property along the way, police say.
A staff member reported the vandalism about 1:04 p.m., March 3, after finding what appeared to be crimson signatures scrawled throughout the library. The vandal targeted library windows, the mens bathroom, the side of the building and the book drop, authorities said.
Police do not have a damage estimate nor any suspect information, said department spokesman Jody Donaldson. The writing was illegible, he said.
