On Sunday, April 29 at 2:15 a.m., officers responded to Inova Mount Vernon Hospital for a victim who had been stabbed. The victim, a 31-year-old Alexandria-area man, was admitted with minor injuries. Investigation revealed that he was walking near the intersection of Lockheed Boulevard and Jefferson Davis Highway when a woman attempted to stab him with a knife. The victim began to flee and was grabbed by a man. The woman then stabbed the victim.
The suspects were described as black and in their 20s. They both wore white shirts and black jeans. The woman was approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds. The man was only described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall.
