Local sports fans will be heartened to hear the Gorsuch hasnt forgotten about an idea she briefly raised during a capital improvement plan meeting when she served as board vice chairwoman in March: permanent lights at T.C. Williams.
Its not a done deal, but Gorsuch expects installing permanent lights a roughly $200,000 project at last estimate will come up again when the board shifts focus to long term planning.
More immediately, they need to get the new lights up at the artificial turf field at Francis Hammond Middle School, she said.
