The T.C. Williams Titans are locked on securing the teams first playoff berth in two decades, but theyll face two top-ranked competitors along the way.
CBS Sports has ranked Patriot District rivals Robinson and Lake Braddock as two of the top 15 football programs in Virginia heading into the 2011 campaign.
Robinson, which drubbed T.C. 35-2 in last seasons opener, is listed as the No. 15 team in the state, according to CBS MaxPreps rankings. The two teams meet on the field again September 17.
Ranked No. 10 statewide, Lake Braddock will take on the Titans at Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium October 1. When the two teams met in 2010, the Bruins routed the Titans 49-12.
Lake Braddock also is considered one of Virginias top-10 high school football dynasties over the previous five seasons, according to MaxPreps.
