An Old Dominion Boulevard homeowner reported a vandal scrawled obscenities on the hood of her vehicle sometime overnight on March 14.

    
While authorities havent released the make and model of the vehicle, they said the as yet unidentified suspect also keyed the automobile, parked on the street along the 3200 block at the time. Police dont have a cost estimate of the damages to the vehicle. 
    
Authorities recommend residents park in a well-lit area, preferably where they can see their vehicle, if possible.
