To the editor:
We read with great interest the recent article on the experiment next year with lights for T.C. Williams football games (40 Years Without Friday Night Lights, October 15, 2009). As neighbors we have just one thing to say it is about time!

We dont know why you cant experiment with the entire season next year. There is nothing more fun for students and those of us who are way past high school age than to go to a Friday night high school football game. We are looking forward to attending and hope it will be the first of many Friday night football games.
