Thumbs Up to officials for reconsidering the citys policy on sponsorship of cultural festivals and events. The city needs to encourage and facilitate such events, but not spend taxpayers money on them.

Thumbs Down to the suspect who kicked a police officer in the face last Friday while the officer was conducting an investigation. The suspect was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Fortunately, the officer was not seriously injured.
