To the editor:

As I was crossing North Ivanhoe Street on July 22, a driver ran the stop sign onto Seminary Road. The bumper sticker on her van read, “Undo the Mess: Seminary Road.” There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of more drivers like her. I see them running stop signs and red lights almost every day, often when I am crossing a street. It would go a long way toward undoing the mess on Seminary Road if the Commonwealth of Virginia would remove the licenses of drivers who run stop signs and red lights.
