The St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes Saints’ struggles on the court show no signs of stopping after a 69-55 rout at St. Albans on Saturday.
But it wasn’t all bad news for the Saints, as seniors Justin Goldsborough and Phil Guglielmo scored 16 points a piece in the road loss. Though St. Stephen’s took an early lead, St. Albans put together two 20-point-plus quarters to finish off the Saints.
The defeat, their second consecutive since overpowering St. Anne’s Belfield earlier this month, puts the Saints at 2-8 on the season and 0-3 against conference rivals.
They take the court next against a 16-2 Bullis squad Saturday.
