After a disappointing start to the season, the Episcopal Maroon ended their 2011 campaign in similar fashion, bowing out of the Interstate Athletic Conference at the hands of St. Albans. 
    
The 1-14 Maroon went into the postseason without a win since April 2 and had dropped two games to St. Albans in recent weeks. They met again in the opening round of the IAC tournament May 10 and St. Albans walked away with a 12-4 win. 
    
The defeat caps off a season where Episcopal struggled at the plate and the mound, a season marked by sweeps at the hands of local and regional rivals.
