The Maroon edged out another nail biter Saturday, squeaking by Paul VI Catholic for a 9-8 victory on the lacrosse field.
Senior Nick Weeden, who sealed Episcopals win against cross-town rival St. Stephens and St. Agnes in quadruple overtime a little more than a week ago, dazzled his opponents again, finding the net five times against a tough Paul VI Catholic defense.
The win puts Episcopal at 13-2 on the season. Their most recent loss came against Landon on April 8. The Maroon take on Woodberry Forest before facing Bullis at home on April 21.
