Bishop Ireton students and parents recently broke out the cleaning supplies and the work gloves to get the Anacostia Community Boathouse ready for another season on the water. 
    
With winter training wrapping up, the Cardinals rowers are preparing for water workouts. They hope to be afloat starting Monday. The Cardinals hit the waves for their first regatta of the season on March 19. 
    
The Cardinals saw two boats place in the top 10 of the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints in January. Thirty Ireton rowers competed in the indoor rowing competition held at T.C. Williams.
