Already off to a good start, both T.C. Williams crew squads had strong finishes over the past weekend.

The girls team, fresh off of a sweep the week before, returned to compete at St. Andrews (Del.) April 18. The Lightweight 8 defeated Holy Spirit for the second straight week, the Varsity 8 and Second 8 earned second-place finishes, the Third 8 team came in third and the Freshman 8 took second place as well against some of the best competition on the East Coast.

The boys team dominated the Darrell Winslow Regatta as the Varsity 8 and Second 8 each took first place, earning comfortable victories against local competition.

Both teams will be competing in regattas in Georgetown and Occoquan over the next three weekends.
