Though the T.C. Williams Titans breezed by Annandale in the opening round of the Patriot District after a 5-14 regular season, W.T. Woodson cut their postseason dreams short. 
    
Woodson, a team that had twice felled the Titans during their regular season campaign, pummeled T.C. in an 11-3 second-round loss. The defeat brings the boys of summers season to a close. 
    
Despite fielding seven seniors, the Titans struggled throughout the spring, dropping four of five just out of the gate. Their sole playoff win came as an upset, beating an Annandale squad that had handed the Titans an 11-8 loss just days prior.
