Though the T.C. Williams Titans earned a hard fought spot in the Northern Region Tournament, they would make it no further than the first round, falling to a tough Langely squad on the soccer pitch.

Josh Ellis and Rhys Howard led the 15-1-2 Saxons to a 2-1 overtime win against the Titans on May 25. T.C. went into the regional tournament game on the heels of a 2-0 loss to Lake Braddock a week earlier.

The dual defeats cap off a rocky season for the 6-10-2 Titans. Alex Mansaray led the team offensively with eight goals during the 2011 campaign. Abdel Al Nimiry, Andrew Milano, Tripp Spurio and Paolo Torres found the net for three goals each during the 18-game season.
