The T.C. Williams girls Lightweight 8 nabbed second place and the silver medal that comes with it at the Canadian Championships last weekend. They entered the finals as the top seed but Saratoga Springs High School (N.Y.) took the gold medal, beating the Titans by a mere 0.17 seconds. The girls Varsity 8 squad made the finals for the fifth year in a row, finishing in fifth place. T.C. also entered a Senior Girls 4 team, a Lightweight 4 and a Senior Pair in the regatta open to high school rowers from around the globe that was held on the Royal Canadian Henley Course in St. Catherines, Ont.
