The Center for Alexandrias Children is now accepting entries for its summer art contest, Alexandria: One City, Many Colors.
The contest asks city youth age two through 18 to create a work of art that reflects Alexandrias diverse community, CAC Executive Director Giselle Pelaez said in a statement.
First- through third-place winners will receive cash prizes ranging from $10 to $50. Winners will be chosen in each age category by a panel of judges, featured on the CAC website and hung in the organizations hallways.
Entries must be postmarked or hand-delivered to The Center for Alexandrias Children, 1900 North Beauregard St., Suite 200, Alexandria, VA 22311, by Friday, July 22.
