The championship winning St. Stephens and St. Agnes girls lacrosse team led the citys high school athletes in the Washington Posts Spring All-Mets, earning five mentions in the regional awards.

elder Michele Phillips and sophomore attacker Carly Reed all made the Posts girls lacrosse first team. Teammates Hannah Mullen, a senior defenseman, and Besser Dyson, a sophomore attacker, also earned spots on the Posts second team. 

In boys lacrosse Episcopal senior Connor Gallegos, an attacker, made the Posts first team while teammate and fellow senior Nick Weeden, a midfielder, landed a spot on the second team. In May, Gallegos and Weeden led the Maroon to their first state championship since 1992. 

In tennis, a 15-2 record was enough to make SSSAS freshman Lizzie Stewart an All-Met first team member.

The citys sole public school, T.C. Williams, earned a string of accolades when it came to crew, including best boat mentions for the boys first four-boat and the girls second eight-boat. Emily Leidolf, a senior, made the Posts first team. Bishop Ireton senior Olivia Babiec joined Leidolf as one of the top-ranked rowers in the region.
