A local man faces multiple charges after allegedly breaking into several vehicles parked in the 2100 block of La Grande Ave., earlier this month.

lice say Charles Anthony Judkins, 53, of Alexandria, was drunk when he began wandering down La Grande Avenue about 1:24 a.m. on September 15. A neighbor spotted Judkins rifling through unlocked cars parked along the street and called police, said department spokesman Jody Donaldson. 
    
Authorities dont know where Judkins began his night nor what he was drinking, but said he was looking for anything he could find mostly loose change. 
    
Judkins is charged with petit larceny, two or more offenses, and drunk in public. He appears in court on October 8.
