Though St. Stephens and St. Agnes field hockey squad lost the opening round of the annual Nyborg Tournament 3-2 to Bethesda-Chevy Chase, they took solace in overcoming Roland Park in game two of the day.

ed the Saints winning goal in the September 10 matchup off of an assist from fellow junior M.T. Fougherty. Classmate Molly Lane leads the Saints in goals scored, finding the net twice in their loss to BCC.

BCC later lost in a matchup with Severna Park, the only team to emerge from the tournament undefeated.

The Saints return to the pitch at 4 p.m. tonight, welcoming Highland to Alexandria for their first home matchup of the season.
