Authorities dont have any leads on the suspect behind a smash and grab theft of an unreleased amoun
t of wine in November.
The suspect targeted a rented van and shattered the rear cargo door window to gain entrance to the vehicle while parked on the 2500 block of N. Van Dorn St. about 5:28 p.m., November 22.
Police would not reveal the quantity or quality of the alcohol stolen, nor why the victim was transporting the spirits by rented van. They do not have a suspect description.
