I found it interesting that juxtaposed on the editorial pages in the April 28 edition of the Alexandria Times were two opinion pie

ces: one concerning rising gas prices, and the other discussing the BRAC buildings at Mark Center. 
    
The former operates to relieve some traffic congestion; the latter is about to create it. Apparently the planners of this debacle thought relocated employees were for the most part going to live in the limited and expensive housing surrounding the complex and walk to work. 
    
And now maybe they can. Skyrocketing rents and bottlenecks from construction (anticipated to be worse in the future) have combined to drive (no pun intended) longtime residents, probably myself included, out in droves.
